SKILLS
Divine Resurrection
At regular intervals, Rafaela can use a special skill to instantly resurrect a fallen allied hero after a brief channeling. The resurrected allied hero will respawn at the base and is granted increased Movement Speed.
This skill's cooldown is determined by both its base cooldown and the remaining respawn time of the revived hero. It is not affected by Cooldown Reduction.
Light of Retribution
Cooldown: 4 s
slow
Rafaela strikes the three nearest enemies With Light of Retribution, dealing them 225–500 (+120% MP) magic damage, briefly revealing their positions, and slowing them by 40% for 1.5s. Enemies hit by Light of Retribution again within 5 seconds will take 20% extra damage (this effect stacks up to 3 times).
Holy Healing
Cooldown: 10.5–8.5 s by level
slowhealing
Rafaela calls upon Holy Light, restoring 100–125 (+35% MP) HP to nearby allied heroes, plus and additional 150–250 (+45% MP) HP to herself and the most injured allied hero in range. Also increases Movement Speed of nearby allied heroes by 30% and grants Slow Immunity for 1 seconds.
Every 20 point(s) of Magic Power will add 1% to the Movement Speed bonus, up to 80%.
Holy Baptism
Cooldown: 42 / 38 / 34 s by level
stun
Rafaela unleashes the true power of Holy Light in the target direction, dealing 460–660 (+120% MP) magic damage to enemies in a line and stunning them for 1.5 seconds.
WHO COUNTERS RAFAELA
Pick them when the enemy has Rafaela · score is their advantage
Odette9.7
Caught inside the ultimate with no way out, they simply melt.
Ixia9.7
They have to stand in the fan with no way out, and the barrage does the rest.
Silvanna9.6
Once the circle is up they have no way out and no answer to your damage.
Vale9.5
Their protective kit cannot hold against burst that lands on the whole group.
Sora8.9
Your burst deletes Rafaela before they can respond. Rafaela is static and dies to a committed dive.
WHO RAFAELA COUNTERS
Pick Rafaela into them
Valir11.0
Healing outlasts the burn stacks, and her cleanse removes the Ashing stun before it can chain — the largest measured edge against him.
Natalia10.9
Light of Retribution marks her exact position, so the ambush never lands, and Holy Baptism stuns her if she commits anyway.
Marcel10.3
Healing outlasts his poke and the cleanse breaks the setup his picks depend on.
Faramis9.4
No hard interaction — Rafaela is simply the stronger pick right now (57.7% vs 50.0% win rate).
Diggie8.9
His Ultimate cleanses your S1 slow and Ultimate stun, giving his team the green light to dive you.
BEST TEAMMATES
HOW TO PLAY RAFAELA
Your main job is to keep your team mobile and safe. Use your S1 (Light of Retribution) to constantly poke enemies, slow them down, and reveal them in bushes. Save your S2 (Holy Healing) to speed up allies when engaging or retreating. Use your Ultimate (Holy Baptism) defensively to stop divers in their tracks.
HOW TO PLAY AGAINST RAFAELA
- No dashes — easy to catch with control and a dive.
HIDDEN MECHANICS
What the in-game descriptions do not tell you: crowd-control rules and verified skill quirks. How crowd control works →
- The cooldown is increased to 500% of the remaining cooldown of the revived ally.
- Max cooldown is capped at 240 seconds.
- The skill's stack applies a mark that is only visible to enemy heroes but is invisible from Rafaela's enemies' perspective. It counts as a debuff and can be removed by skills such as Purify.
- Stun — basic-level control: interrupts only some skills, not most channels; blocked by control immunity.
