HOW TO PLAY SILVANNA

Your Ultimate (Imperial Justice) prevents the target from using dashes or Flicker to escape the circle. It is the ultimate lockdown for highly mobile heroes. However, your main damage source, S2 (Spiral Strangling), is easily interrupted by hard crowd control. Always wait for the enemy to use their CC skills before committing to your S2.

HOW TO PLAY AGAINST SILVANNA

  1. No protection from control — a stun before the engage wins the duel.

HIDDEN MECHANICS

What the in-game descriptions do not tell you: crowd-control rules and verified skill quirks. How crowd control works →
Knightess' Resolve
  • Additional damage dealt to enemy heroes only includes damage from skills and Basic Attacks.
  • Visual marks do not display on minions and creeps, despite the fact that they can receive debuffs from this skill.
Cometic Lance
  • Stun — basic-level control: interrupts only some skills, not most channels; blocked by control immunity.
Spiral Strangling
  • There is a mistake in the skill description, it doesn't spin 1 additional time for every 50% of Extra Attack Speed. Instead, it spin 1 additional time for every 55% of Total Attack Speed above 100% or 1.00. So, theoretically it will spin 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 additional times for a Total Attack Speed of 1.55 / 2.1 / 2.65 / 3.2 / 3.75 / 4.3 / 4.85. Additional spins above 3 are not possible, unless with modifiers that can up the Attack Speed cap like Golden Staff or Inspire. Even so, the max number of spins is 11, not 13. This happens because the increase in the Attack Speed cap effect is very brief.
  • Despite the skill counts as a non-Crit Basic Attack, it doesn't benefit from Golden Staff's passive – Endless Strike.
  • This skill can be canceled manually by moving the joystick.
  • Spiral Strangling is not visible during invisible on the bush.
Imperial Justice
  • Restrain — low-level control: does not interrupt skills — the target can still cast; blocked by control immunity; Arlott's Demon Gaze does not count it as control; Benedetta's An Eye for An Eye does not count it as control.
  • This skill cannot be interrupted.
