SKILLS
Galactic Power
shield
Yve gains a stack of Galactic Power each time she hits an enemy hero with Void Blast or Void Crystal (up to 10 stacks). Each stack of Galactic Power allows Yve to launch an extra attack on the next Real World Manipulation cast and increases the amount of shield gained by 5%.
Void Blast
Cooldown: 5–2.5 s by level
Yve detonates Galactic Energy at the target location, dealing 350–600 (+150% MP) magic damage to enemies in the area
Successfully hitting an enemy grants Yve 55% extra Movement Speed (halved if a non-hero enemy is hit) that decays over 1 second.
Void Crystal
Cooldown: 14–12 s by level
slow
Yve summons a Void Crystal at the target location, dealing 220–420 (+40% MP) magic damage to nearby enemies.
Use Again: Yve commands the Crystal to fire materialized energy in the target direction for 2.7 seconds, dealing 105–180 (+20% MP) magic damage every 0.45 seconds to enemies hit and slowing them by 30%. Enemies hit multiple times are slowed by an extra 6% for each hit after the first (up to 60%).
Real World Manipulation
Cooldown: 60 s
airborneimmobilizeslowshield
Yve creates a Starfield that lasts [for] 15 seconds, gaining Displacement Immunity and a 400–800 (+120% MP) shield. Within the duration, you can Tap or Slide the screen to launch up to 15 attacks.
Tap: Deals 340–540 (+120% MP) magic damage to enemies in the target area.
Slide: Deals 65–125 (+10% MP) magic damage every 0.45 seconds to enemies in the target area for 2.7 seconds and slows them by 50%.
Enemies leaving or entering the Starfield are immobilized for 0.8 seconds (only once against the same target). The Starfield will remain if Yve is controlled, expect for suppression.

HOW TO PLAY YVE
Positioning is your survival. Your Ultimate makes you stationary; always cast it from a safe distance or behind walls. Use the 'Slide' motion on your Ultimate grid to massively slow down enemies, and 'Tap' for burst damage. Your S1 grants movement speed—use it to kite. Remember, only true suppression (Franco, Barats) cancels your Ultimate once it is active — Kaja lost his after the rework. Beware of long-range marksmen like Lesley or Beatrix.
HOW TO PLAY AGAINST YVE
- No dashes — easy to catch with control and a dive.
- After the ultimate you have 60 seconds without it — force fights then.
HIDDEN MECHANICS
What the in-game descriptions do not tell you: crowd-control rules and verified skill quirks. How crowd control works →
- The window time for the second cast lasts up to 5 seconds.
- Void Crystal lasts 3 seconds after the direction is set.
- Airborne — high-level control: interrupts most skills, but not skills with control immunity; blocked by control immunity.
- Immobilize — low-level control: does not interrupt skills — the target can still cast; blocked by control immunity.
- Yve does not lose the ability when being crowd controlled. However the tap/slide order is not enacted in the mean time.
- Entering or leaving Yin's My Turn immediately cancel this ability.
- The shield lingers shortly after the ability ends.
