HOW TO PLAY AGAINST BADANG
- Do not waste crowd control during Fist Crack — it does not land then.
HIDDEN MECHANICS
What the in-game descriptions do not tell you: crowd-control rules and verified skill quirks. How crowd control works →
- Stun — basic-level control: interrupts only some skills, not most channels; blocked by control immunity.
- Chivalry Fist can trigger Basic Attack effects like Demon Hunter Sword, Feather of Heaven and benefit from Lifesteal as it is separate from the original basic attack. It however cannot Crit and be triggered twice by Golden Staff.
- Heroes knocked back to a wall are actually stunned for 2 seconds. This is also the case for Minions and Creeps hit.
- The Dashing speed of the 5th Basic Attack scales to Badang's Attack Speed.
- Heroes knocked back are moved a distance equal to the position of Badang and the edge of his Basic Attack range.
- Fist Wind can't crit or benefit from Spell Vamp, but it will trigger other Basic attack effects. The explosion damage does however, trigger Spell Vamp. Fist Wind triggers on-hit effects such as Blade of the Heptaseas' Ambush and Endless Battle's Divine Justice on-cast.
- The Chivalry Fist effect included is regarded as skill damage. It can trigger effects like Antique Cuirass' Deter and benefits from Spell Vamp.
- Heroes knocked back to a wall are actually stunned for 2 seconds. This is also the case for Minions and Creeps hit.
- It can damage turrets if casted inside their range but the damage dealt is based on Chivalry Fist not Fist Wind's stats.
- Heroes knocked back are moved a distance equal to the position of Badang and the edge of his Basic Attack range.
- Fist Wind's only explodes once even if passing through multiple obstacles,
- Heroes, Minions, and Creeps hit by Fist Wind's projectile right before it dissipates only takes damage and slow, but are not knocked back nor inflicted with Chivalry Fist damage. This could be the reason why Chivalry Fist couldn't deal damage to turrets outside their range despite able to outrange them.
- Badang will only create an obstacle if he encounters Heroes on his way. He will pass through name = Guinevere's illusion, name = Sun's Dopplegangers or name = Hanzo's original body when Kinjutsu Pinnacle Ninja is active.
- Heroes knocked back are moved a distance equal to the position of Badang and the edge of his Basic Attack range but a bit farther than usual.
- Blade of the Heptaseas's Unique Passive Ambush triggers on the first hit of this skill.
- Endless Battle's Divine Justice and other passive effects alike will trigger on the first hit of this skill only if Badang has already casted another skill prior. This skill can only be cancelled/interrupted by Suppression during throwing.
- It can damage turrets once if casted inside their range but the damage dealt is based on Chivalry Fist not Fist Crack's stats.
- Heroes knocked back are moved to the edge of Fist Crack's skill range rather than a set distance.
- Heroes, Minions, and Creeps are only knocked back/stunned at the start of Fist Crack, this includes Chivalry Fist.
- Fist Crack's Fist Winds only explodes once even if passing through multiple obstacles,
- Heroes, Minions, and Creeps hit by Fist Crack's Fist Winds right at its very edge only takes damage, but are not knocked back/stunned nor inflicted with Chivalry Fist damage.
- Since Chivalry Fist is only triggered once at start of Fist Crack, this could be the the reason why Fist Crack couldn't continuesly damage turrets with Chivalry Fist.
