SKILLS

WHO COUNTERS LANCELOT

Pick them when the enemy has Lancelot · score is their advantage
Angela10.2
Heartguard and the shield keep your carry alive through his whole burst window.
Aulus10.1
You are slippery enough to make Lancelot's burst miss.
Floryn10.1
Global healing undoes the burst he needs to be lethal, and he cannot dive the whole team.
Imperial Justice locks him inside the circle — neither Puncture nor Phantom Execution takes him out of it.
King's Calling bans Puncture and Thorned Rose, and without dashes he has no damage and no escape.

WHO LANCELOT COUNTERS

Pick Lancelot into them
Ling10.1
You match his tempo in the jungle and win the fight he starts.
You punish Zhuxin in the animation they have to commit to. Your burst deletes Zhuxin before they can respond.
Yin9.7
You out-duel him inside his own ultimate, which is the only place he is dangerous.
Invincibility frames dodge Fatal Links and he kills Atlas the moment the ultimate is spent.
She is frail with no dash — reach her once and she dies; the visible cast also tells you when the flank is coming.

HOW TO PLAY LANCELOT

Chain your first skill dashes by hitting different targets (minions, monsters, or heroes) to reset its cooldown. Use your second skill (Thorned Rose) to dodge dangerous enemy abilities, as you are untargetable during the animation.

HOW TO PLAY AGAINST LANCELOT

  1. Thorned Rose grants invulnerability — wait it out.

HIDDEN MECHANICS

What the in-game descriptions do not tell you: crowd-control rules and verified skill quirks. How crowd control works →
Soul Cutter
  • Additional damage dealt includes all types of damage from any sources.
  • Aside from Lancelot's own abilities, he also gains 1 stack of Soul Cutter caused by the Cyclone Eye's dash, Flicker, and Mathilda's Guiding Wind.
Puncture
  • Puncture first applies Sword Mark, then the damage. Meaning if an unmarked enemy dies from Puncture, the cooldown is reset.
