WHO COUNTERS VEXANA
Pick them when the enemy has Vexana · score is their advantage
Natalia9.1
Silence stops Deathly Grasp before it is cast, and stealth means she never sees the opener coming.
Kadita9.1
Breath of the Ocean into Rough Waves is a death sentence for a mage with no escape, and the passive heals you through her combo.
Alice9.0
Blood Banquet drains her through the whole fight and her burst cannot break your sustain — the largest measured edge against her.
Vale8.6
Your burst deletes Vexana before they can respond. Heavy crowd control on a hero who cannot escape it.
Cyclops8.5
Your burst deletes Vexana before they can respond. Heavy crowd control on a hero who cannot escape it.

Magic damage cuts through the physical armour he stacks.

HOW TO PLAY VEXANA
Your Ultimate (Eternal Guard) is a multi-purpose tool: use it for AoE knock-up, to tank towers, or to block skill-shots. Always lead with S1 (Deathly Grasp) to fear enemies, making it easier to land your S2 (Cursed Blast). In teamfights, target grouped-up enemies to trigger your passive's chain explosions. Keep your distance, as you have no mobility to escape assassins.
HOW TO PLAY AGAINST VEXANA
- No dashes — easy to catch with control and a dive.
- After the ultimate you have 46–60 seconds without it — force fights then.
HIDDEN MECHANICS
What the in-game descriptions do not tell you: crowd-control rules and verified skill quirks. How crowd control works →
- The damage from Nether Touch Vexana's basic attack applies and refreshes the debuff on nearby enemies.
- Fear — basic-level control: interrupts only some skills, not most channels; blocked by control immunity.
- CC Immune and Purify makes the caster immune but does not remove the lingering terrify effect, and enemies that approach such units will be terrified.
- Airborne — high-level control: interrupts most skills, but not skills with control immunity; blocked by control immunity.
- Vexana can't have more than one Eternal Guard; the older one will disappear once she summons another one.
- It only benefits equipment effects and not non-attribute talents and battle spells.
- Its attacks are neither a basic attack effect nor a skill effect but a Magic Damage effect.
- The Guard prioritizes heroes that are in range and will only attack and chase Vexana's targets; or those attacking Vexana, it will only attack whoever Vexana is targeting if there are no heroes nearby.
- The Guard can attack jungle creeps if no other higher priority targets are in range, but it will never deal the last hit.
