airborne
After a short delay, Kadita summons an ocean wave to erupt at the target location, dealing 350–550 (+140% MP) magic damage to enemies hit and knocking them airborne for 1 second.

slowuntargetablecannot be interrupted
Kadita dives into the ground and sends ocean waves in all directions, each dealing 270–330 (+60% MP) magic damage to enemies hit and slowing them by 30%. Enemies hit by multiple waves take increased damage. After a short period, the waves return to Kadita, each dealing 180–220 (+40% MP) magic damage to enemies hit.
When diving underground, Kadita cannot be interrupted (excluding Suppression).
When underground, Kadita becomes untargetable and gains 60% Movement Speed.

Marcel10.8
Frozen Moment cannot be removed and lands before Rough Waves, so the dive never happens.
Barats9.1
Swallowing her is a suppression, so it reaches through the submerge just like Franco's hook — Ocean Ode does not save her.
Franco8.7
Suppression is the one thing that reaches her under Ocean Ode — the submerge does not save her.
Minsitthar8.0
King's Calling interrupts Ocean Ode and she is left standing in the open.
Valir8.0
Kadita reaches you and you cannot get away.
WHO KADITA COUNTERS
Pick Kadita into them
Chip11.8
Your burst deletes Chip before they can respond. Chip locks the group down but you have a way out of it.
Faramis10.8
Your burst deletes Faramis before they can respond. You simply walk out of what Faramis needs to finish casting.
Lolita10.5
Her burst comes from above and behind the shield, which only blocks what comes at the front.
Jawhead9.9
You dash around the throw and punish the miss.
Johnson9.9
Control immunity means the stun never sticks, and after the crash he is just a slow body.

HOW TO PLAY AGAINST KADITA
- Do not waste crowd control during Ocean Ode — it does not land then.
- Rough Waves grants invulnerability — wait it out.
HIDDEN MECHANICS
What the in-game descriptions do not tell you: crowd-control rules and verified skill quirks. How crowd control works →
- If Kadita is suppressed or uses Winter Crown, the remaining effect persists, but she cannot stop at will.
- Airborne — high-level control: interrupts most skills, but not skills with control immunity; blocked by control immunity.
- The delay is 0.8 seconds. If casted to stop Ocean Ode, the delay is reduced to 0.6 seconds.
- This skill cannot be interrupted.
- When Kadita successfully dives underground, this skill removes all existing debuffs, crowd controls, and damage over time on Kadita.
- She can freely use equipments and battle spells. Using Winter Crown will maker her unable to move.
